Teaching Internship Phase II - Reflective Journal (Week 6)

Day 22 - 19/01/2026

Today, reached the school at 8:50 a.m. Today, I went to serve the morning food for the students. After that I went to the headmaster's office to sign the attendance register. Then I returned to our staff room. Today I had period in IX A in the fourth hour. As the second period was free for them, I also took that period. I had class at the sixth period for IX D.

Day 23 - 20/01/2026

Today I reached the school at 8:55 p.m. On reaching there I went to serve the morning food for the students. Today I had class at the the third and fifth period for IX A and sixth period for IX D. I left the school today at 3:45 p.m

Day 24 - 21/01/2026

Today I reached the school at 9:15 a.m. On reaching the school, I went to the headmaster's office to sign the attendance register. Today I had class in IX A at the second period and class in IX D at the sixth period. I also got a substitution period in VIII C at the seventh period. They were taught some words in their text book. During the lunch time, I went to serve the noon meals for the students. I left the school today at 3:45 p.m.

Day 25 - 22/01/2026

Today I reached the school at 8:50 a.m. Then I went to serve the morning food for the students. After that I signed the attendance register. Today I had class on the sixth period in IX A. During the lunch break, I went to serve the noon meals for students. The remaining time was used for completing the academic works. I left the school today at 3:50 p.m. after signing the attendance register.

Day 26 - 23/01/2026

Today I reached the school at 9:15 a.m. On reaching the school, I went to the headmaster's office to sign the attendance register. Today I had class in IX D at the second period and IX A at the sixth period. The remaining time today was dedicated to completing the academic works. I left the school today at 3:45 p.m.

     As a part of our B.Ed curriculum, we 11 student teachers of Sree Narayana Training College Nedunganda went to Sree Chithiravilasam Boys High School Chirayinkeezhu for our  Phase 1 Internship Programme. Our group consisted of three students from English optional, three students from Physical Science optional, two students from Social Science optional and two students from Natural Science optional. The first phase of our internship started on 14th July 2025. Internship Phase I Reflective Journal (Week 10)

Day 43 22/09/2025 Today I reached the school at 7:45 a.m. and after having breakfast, we wrapped the prizes for the winners of the competition held as part of the conscientization programme on the topic Health, hygieine and awareness. At 9.15 a.m., we signed the morning attendance and asked the permission of the headmistress to distribute the prizes during the school assembly. The assembly began with prayer and pledge by the students, followed by a short talk by the headmistress. Afterwards, Rohini invited the headmistress to distribute the prizes to the winners of the competition. Karishma called the students to the stage. Today Rani Miss came to observe classes. As Chitra miss have already done my class observation, I didn't have class observation today. Today I had period on the second period.
