Internship Phase I Reflective Journal (Week 6)

DAY 27 - 18/08/2025

Today I reached the school at 9:15 a.m. Today, the first terminal examinations will start. The 9th and 10th standard had exams in the morning and 8th standard had exam in the afternoon. 8th standard had First Language paper 1, 9th had Social Science and 10th standard had English. In the morning I stayed in the room in which the students who didn't have exam were asked to sit. In the afternoon I had exam duty. We left the school at 3:45 p.m.

DAY 28 - 19/08/2025

Today I reached the school at 7:45 a.m. I didn't get exam duty today. So I was assigned to stay in the room in which the students who don't have exams were asked to sit. Today, 8th standard had English in the afternoon. I was asked to clarify the doubts of 8th standard students regarding the questions. 9th standard had English in the morning and Art, Health & Physical Education in the afternoon.10th standard had Mathematics in the morning. We left the school at 3:50 p.m.

DAY 29 - 20/08/2025

Today, I reached the school at 8:00 a.m. Today the 8th standard students had Hindi in the afternoon. The 9th standard students had Hindi in the morning and Biology in the afternoon. The 10th standard students had First Language paper 1 in the morning. In the morning, I stayed in the room of the students who didn't have examination. In the afternoon, I had exam duty. We left the school at 3:45 p.m.

DAY 30 - 21/08/2025

Today, I reached the school at 7:50 a.m. Today the 8th standard students had Mathematics in the afternoon. 9th standard students had Mathematics in the morning and the 10th standard students had Social Science in the morning and Hindi in the afternoon. I didn't get exam duty today. We left the school at 3:50 p.m.

DAY 31 - 22/08/2025

Today I reached the school at 7:35 a.m. Today, I didn't get exam duty. The 8th standard had Social Science in the morning and Art, Health and Physical Education in the afternoon. 9th standard students had First Language paper 2 in the afternoon. The 10th standard students had First Language paper 2 in the morning. We left the school today at 3:45 p.m.

     As a part of our B.Ed curriculum, we 11 student teachers of Sree Narayana Training College Nedunganda went to Sree Chithiravilasam Boys High School Chirayinkeezhu for our  Phase 1 Internship Programme. Our group consisted of three students from English optional, three students from Physical Science optional, two students from Social Science optional and two students from Natural Science optional. The first phase of our internship started on 14th July 2025. Internship Phase I Reflective Journal (Week 10)

Day 43 22/09/2025 Today I reached the school at 7:45 a.m. and after having breakfast, we wrapped the prizes for the winners of the competition held as part of the conscientization programme on the topic Health, hygieine and awareness. At 9.15 a.m., we signed the morning attendance and asked the permission of the headmistress to distribute the prizes during the school assembly. The assembly began with prayer and pledge by the students, followed by a short talk by the headmistress. Afterwards, Rohini invited the headmistress to distribute the prizes to the winners of the competition. Karishma called the students to the stage. Today Rani Miss came to observe classes. As Chitra miss have already done my class observation, I didn't have class observation today. Today I had period on the second period.
